Pivot doors are a fascinating solution for large and modern entrance areas. At the slight push of a button, the door swings weightlessly around the asymmetrical pivot point on both sides. Front doors, interior doors, all doors enable very large panel size and a wide range of custom design options – all-glass, wood, aluminium or other materials.

Active seal:
by pressing the button, air is introduced into the frame and the seal is pumped up. The seal presses against the sliding profile and closes the gap between the slider panel and the fixed frame to create a perfect seal.

Seal inactive:
the button is pressed a second time to open the unit, the air leaves the unit and the seal retracts to its original concave profile.

Opening:
Interior operation is preferably via a push button built into the vertical frame profile. When the push button is pressed in the closed position, the two air seals empty and the locking bolts retract. Now, the entry doors are open. Exterior operation can be through a key fob, fingerprint scanner or numeric code.

Closing:
A mechanism installed in the frame centres the modern pivot doors into the final closing position after being switched manually.

When the push button is pressed, the locking bolts close the element and air is pumped into the seals at the same time. This makes the hinge system and hardware perfectly sealed and the entry doors are closed.

Bigger is better – and this is also true for air-lux pivoting doors. The larger the pivoting door, the more impressive the effect when open. The maximum weight of an air-lux pivoting door is approximately 500 kg, and we can accommodate glass up to a maximum thickness of 60 mm. If required, we can manufacture your pivoting door with alarm glass or bullet-resistant safety glass.

The air-lux pivot doors have four electromechanical closing points and the two pivots, which are connected to the fixed part by means of ball bearings. Advanced hardware components to monitor the door’s closing position and locking of doors provide convenient control and monitoring of the pivot door through the building services (alarm system, home automation system, etc.). You can also use smartphones and tablets. Competent air-lux technicians ensure the careful coordination of the pivot system with safety officers and electrical planners.
