Gap ventilation

Gap ventilation is optionally available for both motorised and manual sliding windows. The slide gate is opened by approx. 90 mm and locked with the push button. Using a second locking plate in the upper window profile, the bolt locks the sliding window as if it were closed. The air seal is also activated and presses against the sliding blade to prevent movement noise from the slide gate in strong winds.

As the buttons are now freely accessible from the outside, they must be locked via the building management system or the alarm system. The button becomes inactive and must first be activated again in order to be able to operate the window. For this purpose, air-lux provides a control in the window as standard. Sliding windows in a gap ventilation system are similar to a normal tilted window.
